A buddy of mine will be fishing a chain in mid central wisconsin. He is going mostly for bass (large and smallouth), and pike. What type of baits should he use in this dreary weather? The pressure is very low (29.5) and still dropping. I was thinking he needs to go with a senko or chatterbait for the bass. I am not sure about the pike.

Should he stay shallow or go deeper as well? I know some of the lakes in southern wisconsin, the temps have dropped 10 degrees since last week. Thanks for the help.
