Four is pretty good considering the rain we had. I was out driving the area and the rain was extreme
with waterfalls coming down hillsides pushing muddy water into the lakes right around there.

Not a good year for trout bait. Two days and about 7 hours. 7A-10A or 11A each day. Only one trout. I didn't see anyone catch more than one on Saturday. On Sunday it was more of the same. Although I did see a guy consistently real em in on worm under a slip float. Think he probably limited out plus a few :noway . Limited out last year on same method (floating trout bait of the bottom) and in same place. Water was horrible/Chocolate milk. Should have brought some worms. :flg

Some of my best days trout fishing as a kid were right after big rains. Used to fish with the wind in my face, a rod length from shore with a gray worm. Worth a try for sure!

Do they stock both (or are there 3?) of the Sag quarries with trout, or just one or the other?
