One of my 11-year old grandsons has suggested that I take him, his twin brother and kid sister fishing during Spring break. Since I've never been fishing this early in the year, I like to get some suggestions. We'll probably fish in the afternoon and I know to fish on the sunny side of the pond. We'll use crawlers for the bass and wax worms for the gills. Is it too early to catch anything? Any suggestions to increase our success?
Look forward to your replies.
Best,
Grandpa Bob

Depending on where you are located you could try for stocked trout. I think the season opens this weekend or next although I'm not firmilliar with which lakes are stocked. Anyone else out there know?
