Was gone this weekend so missed the chaos of the opening day.

Hit Blackwell yesterday evening. Had one good trout on the line (came unbuttoned right at the weed line), off of yellow power bait, on a floating jig head 24" off the bottom.
Was fishing just to the right of the boat launch and pier.
Had one other fish on the line for a few seconds. Left after sunset.

Only had my line crossed 3 times. The guys fishing off the doc/observation deck, were pulling a fish every 20 minutes or so. They were fishing shoulder to shoulder with bobbers a foot apart or less.

Great to be outdoors, the fresh smell of cigarette smoke choking the air and lots of trash... just like vegas!
