this morning i was at busse lake and there were a lot of dead fish. all the same species and mainly in the south pool. i was fishing the main pool by the boat launch and didn't get any bites.

I was there on 8-13 and talked with dnr and he said biologist were investigating still. they found over 1,000 fish dead. It looked like it was mostly Shad. Probality due to low oxygen levels.

Thought I saw something on the news about this the other day. They said it was low oxygen levels caused by the extreme heat. Hopefully after this week things will start to cool down a little.

I noticed some floaters back in July; there weren't many, but they were there.
