yesterday evening i caught a 5 lb. channel and 2-1lb. channels at maple lake. i had been there to many times this year with no luck.
my persistance finally paid off. was using sonny's.

way to go. always had better luck in the south west corner never targeted cats but have caught a couple. where were you fishing at. there is a deep hole to the west of the parking area off 95th st about halfway between it and the boat rental usually can coax something out of that area also. goog luck

I was at the southwest corner across from the boat rental. It was my first time fishing that side.
Some guy there was saying they've caught 8 and 10 pounders.

nice catch!!!!! i went there 2 day and tried sonnys in the same spot, and got skunked. caught a ton of bluegills on worms though. i think the gf and i r goin 2 take my 4 year old niece.

Nice catch I was there yesterday fishing almost the same spot and caught a 7" sunfish and a 11" largemouth bass. Swapped a few plastics and changed fishing locations with no luck anywhere else.

Both were caught on a 1" tube jig in white 10' from shore.
