Its that time again where the deepwater line has to come off and make way for spring mono rigs. With out the luxury of having a ton of reels in the past I have just thrown away the old lead, and braid to put on the mono for the spring. This year I spend under $10 and built a line holder to strip off the old line to save it until I need it again.

Nice contraption, I rigged something similar for my tipups.
How do you get rid of line twists?

The only way I know how to get rid of twists is to drag the line behind the boat while running out. (10+MPH). For trolling rods I don't really have a problem with twists causing problems but my spinning rods and mooching rods I will tow them behind the boat.
