Would like to hear what lakes you guys want to fish up north of I-90. Then I can look into which are accessible for walkers and motorized(atv/sleds). A poll will go up from there for a majority vote.

Are you going to limit this to IL lakes only? There are a lot of lakes just North of the border with public access.

I would love to incorporate delevan and geneva just to name a few. However I will let the majority(from north division) decide on this. Those without a WI liscense may not want to pay the fee for wi license just for league.

I have a license for both states but would like to keep it in Illinois. Weather can be very unpredictable which may make getting to Wisconsin tough for those coming from the city. I also vote Mineola Bay for a great early season spot!

If you include Wisconsin lakes, its a disadvantage as they are
bigger producers. Not everyone fish up there.

I think for this year, we will see how it goes and keep all lakes in IL.

IL/WI border will be furthest north for north division.

Channel, Piss takee, Long, Bangs to name a few. Those lakes have pretty good access points and most ice anglers are pretty familiar with those lakes. I am sure there are more but would anyone want to give up their honey holes??? :winker

There is one lake but I usually get lost either driving in or out of the subdivision. Got some nice gills out of there with some good friends last year. Used to fish Deep Lake many years ago but wouldn't know where to go to park these days. We took many Gills and Crappie there way back when.

Why were you blindfolded on the way there?

I'm sorry, I hate the people that design some of the subdivisions. Twisty turny roads that double back on them selves that after a half mile come out on another road 90 degrees from its origin, 100 yards away from where it started. Then the ijits name them with the same names but use road, place, street and ave to distinguish them from one another. Take First Road to First Street and turn left, stay on that until you pass First Ave and then turn right on First Place... HUH? And Kevin, you know exactly what subdivision I am talking about.

ok, so since it it clear that nobody wants to fish south (wolf) then I declare that my team wins all southside events. Bubba can have a couple points because, well, he is who he is. :allah
