Looking to get for a few hours tomorrow morning and do some float fishing would like to fish one of the above areas. I don't have any skein so bought some spawn sacs from gander and am going to give these a shot. bought tube jigs and will be trying those too. If anyone has some tips or secret 100 100 100 spots lol send me a pm OR check my profile and give me a call in the am or before 10.

Thanks,,
Joe

Hit Kenosha in the am and just followed the game plan.
Water was very cloudy, wind out of the southwest, air temp was around 35degress.
Went 2-3 and saw 2 other cohos caught. Got some eggs to make some sacs for the next outing :winker

Nice job. I was out there this morning with my 9 year old. We got a coho and 2 gobies. Real slow - saw the same as you. Probably were fishing right next to you.

I think I finally warmed up!

There's a slight possibility, although most likely I'll be duck hunting. I have all year to fish and only 60 days to go duck hunting... so depending on the weather this week I'm not really sure what'll happen. If you get out again, shoot me a text tho.

Little ice jig - black head and a burnt orange body. Tipped with a wax worm. Had it about 3 or 4 feet under an ice bobber. No jigging, just let the wind and waves do their thing.

There were a bunch of guys around me fishing with skein. All had said the fishing was slow and I didn't see them catch anything, so I thought I'd try something different. I'm pretty sure my catch was not the sign of any pattern, just dumb luck.

I got hits on a tube jig right by the side of the wall, but I'm guessing they were all gobies.

Oh yeah, my fish had a big old green tube jig stuck in his tail. I haven't been out shore fishing in a while, but this just brought me back to reality real quick.
