Had an hour or so to kill, so I went to Belmont to see if the salmon had turned berzerk yet. Was going to float some roaches, but all Park Bait had was fatheads. Saw another gentleman pull in a nice, fat rainbow in the 20 in. range on spawn 10 or 11 ft. down. Then I saw a CO pull in a nice, fat snagger, with backup from Chicago's Finest called in.

Then I saw a CO (Conservation Officer) pull in a nice, fat snagger ( A person who rips a weighted treble hook for salmon, which is illegal in Belmont Harbor), with backup from Chicago's Finest (A Chicago Policeman)called in.

They could kill all the steelhead, bass, pike, etc. all they want. These morons are part of the reason why the Belmont mouth is difficult to get to now.

Quote: These morons are part of the reason why the Belmont mouth is difficult to get to now I can't believe they still have the gates down at the booth on the north side and want you to pay $5 to park. In November. Please. I shlepped it from the Irving Park/Rec. Drive lot--the machines have signs taped to them--no fees until Memorial Day 2011 or something like that.
