A rare non-working afternoon gave me the opportunity to hit Waukegan during the week - and what a great weather day to do so. Fish were still jumping in the harbor, but once again there were no strikes on tube jigs or shrimp. Other fishermen were using roaches, skein and 'crawlers and also had no luck.

There were reports of coho on mid-size cranks off of GP. Water temp was warmer than I would have expected at 57 degrees.

I would think with this low pressure system in place it would be better.

On Monday afternoon (10/25), I was up at the harbor, helping Tom get the Twin Fins pulled out. We watched a couple guys bobber fishing in the harbor near our slips go 2 for 4. Another guy had one on and missed it, too. Fish were jumping almost constantly, and the majority looked pretty dark.
