Has anything been going in the Chicago harbors? Kings are zombies by now maybe some coho still around, and steelhead in the harbors yet?

haven't been out in over 2 weeks, but i have heard no reports from friends on coho or steelhead being caught... only random kings still. Gonna try to get out sometime this weekend since winds will be favorable and see if I can stumble upon something. I did see the lakefront water yesterday and it looked like chocolate milk, so not really expecting much lakeside.

I was up in Waukegan yesterday preparing the boat for storage, and even the water in the harbor was silted. Winds from the southeast had waves pounding the south rocks, and spray was hitting my boat in the harbor. Waves were washing onto the finger parking lot at the south rocks. Going to make it very difficult for fish to breath and see in water that silted.

Maybe you should post a report of your own before complaining that other people aren't posting any, SalmonFin.

Here's a report. Perch are starting up on the SE side. There are still some half dead salmon stacked up in the harbors. Steelhead/trout bite is slow as hell. Illegal snagging is happening all over.
