Beautiful weather, nice and over cast, the right chop on the water,water temp was 83F, the kind of day that we look for when fishing.
No body told the fish. We worked the launch rip rap through 'til it turned to grass and headed to the north side. Trolling crawlers on harness and even minnows on bottom bouncers. We took a couple dink whites or stripers, I can't tell the difference, perhaps 5 inches long.Worked back to the south side and a couple more dink bass anbd gills. Great day to be out, and even no fish is better than not being on the water.

Yessir, same thing over and over again, but I just got the old ghirl legal, and Heidecke is only 30 minutes from home. I haven't been on that lake in 20 years. I'll learn her ways, time and patience. Yanno this old '75 Lund 16 ft with a 50hp motor, only so many places yopu can put her on the water near home.
