Geo. made the trip Sout' today. I hitched up the GDN II and we headed out to H.
The weather was great. Nice drifting winds all day.
First fish was a Bobber caught white Bass big enough to keep caught along the launch rip rap.
Geo. had to Getdanet for me.
I gotdanet wet for Geo's Smallie.

Not much else going on the sout' side.
The North side was a tad better but nothing to brag about.
The only eyes we saw were the beady little Striper eyes.
A lot of the day was spent casting and draggin' worms. We even ran over one of Reborn's favorite spots. All we got for our troubles was a few snags.

A bit later Geo. took another keeper size White Bass on a silver Mepps.
He followed that with about a 2LB Drum on the Mepps as well.

I couldn't let him get away with that so I tossed out the Bobber and caught a Half a Drum.

Actually he was pretty fiesty and soon showed us his other half.

You could fill in the holes in the rest of the day with a dink here and a dink there.
Over all, it was a great day on the water. Lots of jokes and fun.
Thanks Geo. for makin' the drive. Hope your drive home was better than our trip back from the H. Oh yeah, nice job handling the troller. Some day, I'll get to use it. :D

John...thanks for taking me out on your fine craft. Its a really nice boat....super trolling motor. Had a great time even though the fishing should have been better. The day, conditions and for sure the company far outweighed the scarcity of fish!!! The drive home wasnt too bad...got tight around downtown...then right b4 the edens...but wasnt as bad as I80...thats for sure!!!

Yep Todd, he must have known he would be blocking my face so he waited 'till the exact moment the shutter clicked to do a flip.
