Todd and I fished the big h today on the N side for about 3 hours.We caught 4 eyes and a few small sripers , and 1 crappie.Fish taken on a bottom bouncer with a crawler harness.

i was wondering what happened to the reports. U sure do love those bottom bouncers. Hows the algae bloom going?

Good job Reborn.Going out in morning.Good to see there biting.Wont be long before its full of shad.Have had some good days after hatch especially if you can get lucky and catch the stripers bustin them on top.

I will be out in the morning JimL.This morning on the north side as the sun can up. I saw a school of stripers breaking the surface in a big area.

Look for me on North side in Nitro alone.Pays to carry a rod you can grab quick and cast into the stripers when there herding.#5 rs rapala in shad good choice.

I went out yesterday as well. Fished from 3:30 till around dusk. Started trolling cranks southside wiht no luck.
Switched up to cralwers on north side and ran into alot of fish. Mostly small strippers. One cat. One 15" walleye
and lost what I'm guessing was a mid twenties walleye at boat side. Was by myself, leaned over to get the net and lost her.
Was really PO'd. People probably heard me yelling accross the lake. Nice evening to be out fishing though.
