Same thing happened at braidwood today, took the grandkids out for a ride to chase some gills. Dang wishered fish were over running the lake, and most 6"to 12" and a pain to unhook. Waters temps in the 90*+ so wsj will not be back. But the boat ran OK as this is it's first stop of the year before venturing on the big pond.

Dink city was where we were fishing, but eh gulp alive minnow fry..........awesome.

Great job Jim! You ever catch any smallies while fishing for those eyes?

WSJ- I was out there too yesterday. I had one boat near me that was catching nonstop panfish. You're right with those temps. Not much longer will I fish there till September. Good fishing.

Paul, the smallies are biting good.I caught 1 yesterday about 14" dragging a crawler.Caught some nicer ones last weekend also on crawler.Several times other smallies follow the one that is hooked, one time 3 followed.Got one that was 17".They are on offshore humps and shoreline riprap.
I would imagine someone targetting them could do very well.
