Thinking of heading out there this afternoon and looking for any info about what might be going on there. Looks like it might be a little cool and I'm hoping that won't kill the chances of picking a few fish up.

I wouldn't worry too much about the cooler temps. However, I was out last weekend and was still marking shad everywhere. Once the Shad hatch during summer, fishing can get tough for a few weeks given all the available food in the lake. Was looking for hybrids but only caught a dozen or so dink white bass.

Out there about 2 weeks ago drifting crawlers. Few drum a few yellows but pretty slow and we weren't working it all that hard. Good Luck!

Hope you are in a boat... saw on FB that someone hit the fence by the shore fishing entrance and they have it all closed down 'until further notice'.

Forecast calls for hot weather next week and no rain in sight. Will be great fishing out there when duck season rolls around :)

Went out sat for the morning and lots of shad still. Didn't expect much. A few fish but was there burning off some gas, had not been in the boat since July and heading to pool 14 this weekend. Seen shore guys out on Saturday so if it did happen it would have had to happen after 12.
