Hi All!!

After lurking around here for the past couple of weeks finally decided to join in on the fun. Name's John from Downers Grove. Since retiring last year I'm getting back into hunting and fishing. In checking my log book, I hadn't fished Lake Michigan since 2001. I figure a nine year hiatus is long enough! Looking at the Trout/Salmon forum I see some fishing tactics and gear have changed, yet others remain the same, so I've got a lot of catching up to do. Been out 3 times the past month out of NP. Was skunked the first 2 times but landed two yesterday (Friday the 13th :twisted:

) A Coho and a Steelhead. Had them for dinner last night. Felt good to be catching fish again!

Anyhow, just wanted to introduce myself and say hello to everyone. Be prepared to see a lot of questions from me as I bring myself back up to speed.

Don't forget to use the search option. There are literally thousands of old posts that you will find useful.
