I'm looking for a pond in or around the southwest suburbs to take my 6 year old grandson fishing. I'm sure he would be happy with blue gills or small bass as long as there's some action. Any suggestions? Thanks, Bob L.

Where do you live or what suburb are you interested in?

Thanks for the help. I took my grandson to Maple Lake and we had a great time, the grubs worked great. Any place between La Grange and Tinley Park will work, Maple Lake was close enough. Thanks, Bob l.

Ya have to use a lttle larger hook. It's surprising how those little gills can swallow a whole hook into the gullet.
