To all,I wanted to pass along to my fellow hds users a problem I solved and saved$$$$$. If you have ever had the problem of your hds units not turning on or powering up and then white screen,lines,and the turning off i found the problem. After this happening to two different units trouble shooting all other possiblities and sending one in for big $$$ repairs i fixed the other one one my own. The problem was water inside the graph! The fix.... With a pair of fishing pliers i removed the moister plug in the back of the unit, stuff a little cotten in the hole and put the whole unit in a zip lock bag of rice! Just like you would for a wet cell phone. After two days in the rice my unit fired right up! I hope his helps someone! Fish one!
