Detachable handle is the way to go The handle has the rear peep on the one I am interested in so the handle is a must but not sure if I would ever remove it. I want one as close as I can get to the military M16 A1

Quote: Chris, the plan is to pick up a 5.56, which will also shoot the 223 round I agree, The .223 Remington is rated for a maximum of 50,000 CUP while the 5.56mm is rated for 60,000 CUP. That extra 10,000 CUP is likely sufficient to cause a failure in a chamber that's only rated for the "sporting" .223 Remington.

I dont mean to steal a thread but I think that if marc gets the 5.56 he can shoot 5.56 rounds plus .223 rounds also, but if you buy the 223 you cannot shoot 5.56, if I am wrong feel free to correct me. This was what I was told by the guy who sold me my last gun while I was looking for a carbine

chris You are correct Chris. I shoot the military 5.56 ball and have no problems Bill. And Jay that Tauras Judge is a great hallway gun with 410 buck loaded in it. Just let them get into the hallway and they'll never get away

Just let them get into the hallway and they'll never get away The buck load will knock down it's target and less likely pass thru a wall causing injuring or killing someone else. The ultra lite model is easy to handle which is a plus if you awaken from a dead sleep trying to defend yourself. Red eyed tired and half asleep is eaasier to shoot buck than aim my 9mm.
