I've never used the Therma Cell you can wear but I can voge for the their other products in general. I got 1 & took it to Canada camping expecting to try it out & impress everybody with my new gadget. All my in-laws whom are Canadian already had them. FYI I have no affiliation to the product.

In a nut shell it works. I have one, not the cheapest route, but the most effective.

ditto to the last post. works on ALL critters of the flying bug ilk! tried it out a mom's cabin on lake of the woods and within 5-10 minutes, all bugs, skeeters and, no seeums' GONE!

a bit pricey, but they worked in the boat, too!

I agree. Thermo cell is the best thing out there. Whether in the boat or in the tree stand, no more skeeters.

I've used it 6 or 7 times in the late afternoon and eve. on those warm/no wind hunts. So far, so good. I use the velcro straps to attach it to the side of the platform. I ignite it before I start climbing (instructions say it takes about 20 mins. to become effective). I'm not sure how long the mats last, I just change them every other time out. Worth the dough. As far as scent goes, haven't had any neg. experiences. Hope this helps. Good Huntin' 8)~
