Hi does anyone know where i can bow fish for carp from shore where its leagle.

Best place is Grass Lake on the chain. Most of the rural shoreline of the fox river are also open. The biggest carp are in the harbors especially Waukegan but that's not available. The best time is late May and early June when their spawning. Good luck and have fun.

Take a run out to the backwaters at the DesPlaines Conservation area just before sunup and walk the shore in the spring/summer. You are sure to see many carp.

There were a few guys doing it last year in lake michigan, but, make sure you shoot into the lake not the harbor
