After seeing the carp up shallow right now, my brother and I thought we may try for some of these 20-30lb common carp that are filled with eggs.

So we armed ourselves with some corn, wheat bread, vanilla, and headed out to our spot.

The carp were everywhere in this little channel and after a lil chumming they were soon turning the channel into a mud pit.

My Brother sets the hook on the first fish and the battle was on! His drag was screaming and after a 10 minute battle, we land a male carp.

It weighed in just under 10lbs and apparently was excited to be in my brother's hands..................

We caught 14 carp in the 5-9 lbs and after the bite turned off on the bread balls, we had to switch to just corn.

My brother did have one on that would've easily been in the high teens if not over 20lbs, but after a quick run and his drag a hair too tight, the hook pulled right out.
