Starting to get into bowfishing, what lbs pull is best for bowfishing? Will be shooting carp/gar if that makes a difference.

Any help will do. Thanks

I suggest 40 to 50. Most shots are short range. Any more is over kill and you will be shooting through your fish making arrow retrieval a pita. Also, if you happen to shoot into a stump or rock you will usually get your arrow back in one piece. Have fun!
