| Post subject: | Carp water in Evanston area? |
I'm looking to go carp fishing and live in Evanston- any suggestions as far as waters to try? I fished Glenview Lake a couple of times, but only caught small ones of around 2 pounds. I have a car and don't mind driving to a promising lake. |

if you can get in to the landfill "pond" at nortwestern, there's tons of huge carp. nu security has been really tight tho... |

for all its worth,saw a guy in wilmette harbour last year hooking into a couple big ones. |

You can try the Wilmette Locks. It's where canal and lake come together at Sheridan Rd. just under the Bahai Temple.....lots of big ones there! |
