I went out with hambone on the illinois river saturday. Water clarity sucked, really muddy. Fished backwaters and coves. We ended up shooting six including 2 asians pushing 20lbs each. We could have shot tons more but my tracker deep-v is not so good in 1 1/2-2 foot of water often we beach ourselves. It was awesome getting to go and I'm sold!!! I need to get a jon boat if I bring home a third boat my wife will flip.All in all it was a great trip I adjusted to not using sites and going back to fingers. Can't wait to get back out. Thanks Scott for taking me out.
