Sorry no pics but took my kids for a ride in the boat today out on the big pond.We stopped by the filtration plant I think it was 63rd street. All along that outer breakwall was the largest carp I ever seen I think I could of rode them if I wanted to. If I tried to guess the size they were bigger then my six year old. If u are ever down that way and the waters clear u gotta check it out I'm sure they are always there.

after a few beers I started to think maybe a weighted fly would get those carp what u guys think. what the hell does a carp that big eat. I don't think my secret dough balls for wonder puddle will work for them these things were super active they were flyin around like crazy.

I was at Montrose a day ago fishing for perch along the wall. All of a sudden, the dinks hugging the wall near surface took off like mad and a BIG carp swam by. They didn't do that for no reason, right?

The biggest carp I ever caught was in the Menomenee river in the UP on a spinner, 20 lbs. They'll hit whatever fits in their mouth at times.

My daughter found out what the big carp like on the fox chain. Her french fries she was darn near hand feeding them.
