I live in Sandwich, about 15 miles west of Yorkville. I got my boat up and running last year, so I'm looking to find more people into bowfishing. I bowfish on the DesPlaines River, right where I-55 passes over it. Anyone wants to join me drop me a PM and I'll get in touch. Can't have too many bowfishermen in our area.

Unfortunately I can only handle one other person at a time for nightfishing since I only have a 1448 jon boat. The generator takes up space in the back and with the fishbarrle that's all the room I have. I can take 2 guys out in the daytime tho.

Do you happen to fish the backwater near the harborsidse marina too? If so, I think I may have seen you a couple times while I was night fishin on the side of the road right there by the marina, I saw someone in a jon boat hit a crap and then I was talking to them and they asked me if I wanted the carp that they caught with the bow. I explained that I don't eat fish, but thanks anyways. That may have been you?

It may have been me. I'm sorry I haven't been on here in a while. I started my own remodeling-business and iut's taken me away from all kinds of fun stuff these last 18-months or so.
