I'm trying to plan my brothers bachelor party at lake erie for a walleye trip sometime late april/may...probably out of port clinton. never been there. any suggestions/recommendations? Anybody ever go through seabreeze charters? They seem to have a pretty good package with lodging. Thanks.

We used to go out with seebreeze about a decade ago for a few years and they were great. Caught nice eyes and few giant bass. Haven't been out there lately though...

Went out with seabreeze last year. Caught plenty of fish. accomodations are fine but don't leave your stuff laying around outside.

If you go in april you will want to go out of Wild Wings marina, they are further west of port clinton which makes it in the center of all the action that time of the year. You can call AJ bait and tackle where AJ charters is located, make sure you ask for AJ to guide you, he will put you on the fish!
His number is(419) 635-4436 he is a great guy and he probably will be at the rosemont show at the end of the month.

that would be better too, after the first week or weekend in may the limit goes up to 6 from 3

I was always happy with lake land charters out of port clinton.

I fish out there quite often. My own boat now but two excellant charter services are fishing edition Capt. JW and Room For More charters. Both will catch you fish and I stack my reputation by them. I own a boat and a place in Oak Harbor but still occationally go out with them. Fishing Edition can take up to 10 persons (very comfotable I might add) and most imnportantly both will troll if the wind dies to get your fish. Can never rely on one stlye of fishing. Please give one of them a call you will noy be disappointed. PS the fishing in the middle of may is excellant. I go three trips in may and 5 days over memorial day andd its good.

Used Seabreeze a couple years ago too and was very satisfied with them. The lodging is in trailers/mobile homes walking distance to the docks. It's comfortable and clean. There was a big traffic accident on the way, so we didn't get there until midnight - but the guy had given me instructions as to which trailer was ours, left it unlocked for us and all went smoothly.

Tuggs....go out on your first day. The second day all the Bachelors will be hung over or wanting more beer.
Nothing worse that a deck full of Puke and an unhappy Skipper.
