Was up there today (Friday)730am -230pm. Bite was pretty slow on gills and crappie. We did find some early just off the docks and wood but very spotty. Water temp was 56.8 in the morning and 58.3 when we left. Tried multiple presentation with no real pattern except 1 inch gulp minnow on 1/80th green jig head slowly twitched moving away from the docks. It was overall a great day for November in the boat on the chain.
Where's the darn cold weather I want to walk on water!!!!!!!!

Almost forgot the pain in the a.. spot. THEY ARE RESURFACING RTE53 ONLY 1 Lane open from Lake Cook Road( just north on Menards) to the new condo's on the east side. Took 45 minutes to go south from Old Mchenery Rd to Lake Cook. Old rt 12 just might be as fast!!!
