I am thinking of going out tomorrow. Is it worth the risk for fish with thunderstorms looming?

According to foxwaterway.com, there is a no wake restriction on the entire Chain-O-Lakes system due to high water.

Fishing sucked today. The chain was quiet until 9 am. Then all lakes were packed! Even petite lake had people being stupid.

Caught one largemouth bass, one perch and one 18inch channel catfish.

Just got back from 2 days on Lk Marie. I didn't have access to leeches and didn't bring any. The only guys catching 'eyes were using leeches so we were out of luck. I did get 1 small striper and a very nice crappie so the trip was not a skunk. We trolled and drifted both the bar and the bowl among other areas to no avail. My advice would be if you seek 'eyes, leeches are the key. The crappie came on a chrome #5 Flicker Shad tipped with a spike.
