I was in McHenry Dam last Sat. It was pretty much of water in there but we can still fishing. The bite was pretty nice at 6~8 pm.

HEY DD,

Was out this past Weekend and nailed some evening walleye anywhere between 6 - 10 pm like candy said. Got a pig 22" walleye in a nice channel with plenty of current on a Rapala CD 7 minnow . Did not fair as well with the fishies on the lakes, we stuck to the channels with current and a little bit of bridge fishing for the eyes and we were rewarded with plenty of 2lb bass, crappie and a a hoss of a bass 19" 3.10 lbs. The Bass are definitely on their beds in shallow water if you wanted to target. Heard the action got pretty hot over on Marie Early and Very late (after midnight) on the walleyes with many over 20" boated on Jig n Minnow, however I did not venture out to Marie after dark this weekend to personally verify. Water levels are definitely up quite a bit I would say about a foot to a foot and a half depending on the channel you were going down.

Thanks,

Jimbo
