This isn't going to be much of a report because we were skunked. Didn't even see a fish. Got on the water at 6:00 am. We started out on the west side of Channel lake, then to the north bay, over to the east side of Catherine and finally to the east bay in Marie. My partner threw bucktails, Purple with white or yellow, and a chartreuse topwater prop bait. I started with a firetiger bucktail. Switched to a 6" firetiger Jake, then to a squirrely burt and back to a holographic 6" Jake to end the day. We worked the edges of the weeds and my partner worked over top of the weeds too. It started out clear, but then some clouds moved in at around 8:00am. We were off the water by 9:00am. The normal weed beds were thick and starting to pop out on top of the water.

It still beat sleeping in!!
