I have launched on numerous launches on the north chain. The state park, barnacle bobs the turtle etc. I was wondering anyone know of a launch on lake pistakee that is open in the fall. If i were to get there very early in the morning do they have a pay box or do i pay when i come in? I am planning on being out all day in October and don't want to be towed. If not on pistakee on one of the closer lakes like nippersink.

i knew you would say that "hook" :lol:
never seen any drop boxes on chain launches. usually have to pay when you come back in when the place is open. most places 15-20 bucks a launch dont forget to pay $$ most places write down your truck plates when ur on the water. stop in and ask wherever you plan to launch

Doesn't the Oak Park Hotel have a launch ramp? Not sure what they charge.

Right on Frank. It used to be $10. Go in the bar & pay on your way out. Never had a problem with parking there before sunup. Leaving on the other hand could be a challenge at times.LOL

Diamond Motel in Johnsburg on Chapel Hill road, it is $15 pay in the office 24hrs a day. This is on the river just south of pistakee.
