Had the pleasure to fish with Chancegrayl on the chain today. Was a rough day out there....awful tough bite, short hits, and windy and cold. The fish were hard to find. When we did find some we did get more then one bite or fish in the boat. then it was back to the dead sea! Did an awful lot of "cruising" as the lakes were no wake today. Chance boated the 1st fish, a walleye about 13 inches, later in the day he boated another one that was 14. Chance also boated a few largemouth. a 13 and a 15 incher. Geo had bites....missed fish did manage to boat a 12 and 13 inch largemouth. The carp were spawning on all the shore lines. Man we seen some big ones swim by and under the boat. 30+ in length. Geo boated the last fish of the day. i must have pissed off one of the spawning carp good....wham fish on. fought that sucker for a few minutes and Chance did a superb net job on a 24 inch fat carp. All fish except the carp were released...the carp went in the woods to feed the racoons!!! Chance....thanks for a great day on the water...fishing was sub par...sorry about that, but the company was excellent!!!

Mark b...cold front sent them deeper and gave some fish lock jaw. slowed the metabolism down..thats where the short hits came in. When we started the water temp was 60....at the end of the day it was 58. I dont know where the reading was from depthwise...or how accurate it is...but it did go down. We need some sun to turn the fish on! Didnt even see a panfish!!!

On a second note....I got to the launch b4 Chance arrived...so what does Geo do? I picked up some trash! I did promise on Chitown to do that. I did get some payback for that...a real nice pair of sunglasses in almost perfect shape!! last week i found a nice bungee cord while policing a different lake area. Cash next maybe?

hello geo7455,

this up coming weekend looks good.

and to add to your second note ...... why are people so stupid when it comes to garbage.

hello people (not from this website) just some people in general.....

keep a garbage bag or even a bag from a store in your car to put the garbage in
and if you don't have a bag just keep the garbage in a pile in your car, truck, or van.

also if your walking put your garbage in your pocket... sooner or later you will see a garbage can

thanks for your time
