Well started off the morning kinda chilly out, and had to get out the ice fishing gear, minus the short poles. We started on the south end channels getting some mid-size crappies on small minnows and wax worms. The water in the channels was dirty with all the dead weeds from winter. The water temps in the channel was 43.1 in the mouth and 45.1 in the back. We then made our way over to Pistakee to fish the hole and sure enough the fish were still there from winter. We caught a few more crappies there, but just like winter your marking fish but would not bite what a surprise. The temps on bay were 42 degrees. Our next stop was up on channel that connects marie and channel lake. We caught the majority of the gills there on plastics and waxworms, and last but not least we went over to marie and bluff lake to try our luck with the white bass, all the holes in bluff lake and marie were marking fish but just like at Pistakee would not bite, again probably drum but who knows. The department of conservation was out and about, kinda weird to see them on a weekday, but good to see them. Also seen the eagles coming out of grass lake again. Glad there coming back now each year. Here are a few pictures of the fish and some of the eagles also. We just need some warm sunny weather to really turn the fish on:)

Sure looks like a family fish fry in the makings, and a good one at that. Nice 8)~
