I think it's safe to say, the 2006 open water season has all but ended and what a great season it was. Myself and Mrs. Spinner would like to thank everyone who spent time on the spinner boat over the past year. We had many great days on the water with lot's of good catches. I had the opportunity to fish with very nice people. It prooves to me that there is more to fishing than just catching fish.

We would also like to thank Marc, and all the Mod's at Chitown who run a great site which allows us to post and exchange information about the sport we cherish so much, and the people on this site that have been supportive of the whole "SPINNER" concept, TJP, RSS, Fish81156, ShallowDiver, Spottail, EdR, The SalmonStop, and on and on and on. Sorry, I know I'm gonna most likely miss some people.

Finally, a big thanks to the sponsors at JDSPINNERS.COM who help in supporting the site, and the good Lord above who provided a season of safe trips on the water.

Bottom line, the 2006 season was a great success due to all of the above. Your support and kindness throughout the year is appreciated beyond words. You have all assisted in allowing a dream to come true. The ability to spend time on the water sharing new adventures and meeting new people who love the sport of fishing as much as we do.

The Spinner Boat will take a few months rest before we'll do it all again in 2007. In the mean time, I hope to see all of you at the Walk On Water Event, and the Tinley Park Fishing Show.

JD, you had a good season man and the Chitown members have been provided with a ton of great information and fun posts from you and your beautful bride. You shared with the good and the bad, guys knew when to fish the chain and when to stay away.

You are an excellent addition to Chitown, you provde a ton of information and we look forward to next year reports.....cuz they aways kicked ass!

I think those of us that had a chance to fish with you this year feel the same way. Its great to get out with a guy that is willing to show you spots and tricks on the chain that no one else knows. And to end up back at the Spinner Lounge and be treated like family can't go without saying Thank You to your wife. I look forward to next season I hope to get out more than 4 times I hope . Pat
