Started out at 4:30am from BB. went north to fish the ski's. Threw top water chopper baits and didn't even see a fish. at about 6:30 headed south to fish channels and points, for what ever was taking a jig and minnow. Third cast yielded a nice cat, continued down the short channel between Marie and Bluff had 2 more bites and caught 1 drum. from there I worked the long channel and caught Sm and Lg mouth bass 2lb average. Worked my way all the way to Grasslake Rd bridge and worked the channel back. That produced a few more fish one nice 3 1/2 lb Lg mouth. Fished all the way back to the mouth of the channel and worked that with no results. Moved back to the short channel and caught a few more fish as I workked my way threw. Went stright across Marie and fished the point that leads to Grass Lk. Worked from 5ft to 17ft and only caught 1 yellow bass. Went back to work the channel by Fox Lake and caught a carp in the 5-6lb range, which took some time to get since it was hooked behind the fin. Came back around fished the short channel 1 more time and just outside the channel I caught my last fish of the day a 3lb Smallie. Great fight from this fish he went airborne 3 times and finally was boated.
Was back at BB and had the boat on the trailer by noon. The total for the day was 17 fish boated and about 7 missed fish ( need to set the hook).

hey just wondering if the water temp dropped at all I was out thurs and the water was 86 great report good job

Temps ranged from 83 to 85. The fish I caught felt really warm.
