That will change from year to year, depending on melting snow and spring rain fall. Many times mother nature has more control than the lockmasters. Right now the water is the lowest it's been this winter with many channels that are actually dry. Hopefully, they'll give us a bit more water before the end of this month. Ice out??? I project about the middle of the month. :)

I believe the PWT did say they were impressed with the fishery and have the full intention of coming back, I believe, we won't be seeing them again for a while. They have a rotation of lakes that lasts about 2 years, if I can remember correctly.

But, I have Tivo'd those episodes and have watched them several times!

Infisherman sells the whole PWT season on DVD.

It was the Berkley ProAm and there was a recap show I believe it was Bull Shoals, I forget, I'd have to check....

The july-aug-sept 2005 Walleye in-sider has a really good review of the tournament when it was on the chain. I hope to try out some of the spots this spring where the pros were doing well :bday:

hadley; just hire Darrel Baker for a day, you wouldn't beleive how many tournament walleye guys hired him before the tournament. He was booked solid from ice out. Now if he would only buy a decent boat.

I'm working on a way to extract the shows from my DVR to my harddrive (if that's even possible). So far I have the whole PWT season. The Chain I believe was broken into 2 shows.
If anyone knows how to move video PLEASE let me know!!!!

If you have Tivo, go to Tivo.com and download their .mpg4 client. Then get your Tivo serial number and when the application asks for it, put it in. Your CPU can now talk to your Tivo and extract movie's straight off of it.

You can do this only if your Tivo is connected to your LAN.(Local Area Network) for you lay-folk.

This app is pretty buggie. I've been able to download my shows at about 300MB a piece, BUT I lose audio. Tivo claims I have to buy a codec(or video compression setting) for Windows Media Player 10. But then claims, well it really should have it installed when you download the WMP app.

TRANSLATION: MAJOR PITA!

Did I mention the codec was about $20! and the Tivo downloaded file only works with WMP....

I spent a whole night fartin' with this thing, and still can't get the audio downloaded, and I'm a web designer! So, I know just a bit about computers and video compression, etc. :argue

Good Luck!

If your DVR has a "record to VCR" option you can pick up a DVD recorder (last I saw, Target had one for ~$88) - works well - I just got one, but remember to read the manual - it saves alot of time!.

Hey Jason,

I just got Tivo for Christmas and have the latest s/w. I just tested uploading from my Tivo, audio and video came through fine. You might look to see if there is an update from Tivo for your DVR. BTW, I did get a codec error when running MS media player, but it didn't seem to effect the playback.

Is it snowing out right now? Dang, I was just thinking only a few more weeks till I get the boat out of storage!

Regards,
Ron

Ron,
Did all that, surfed the Tivo message boards, etc. Still doesn't seem to work.
