Hit the water about 6:15am winds were already up so I headed for some channels off fox lake and worked some current areas figured the bite would be good since we had some rain. Mornig bite was a little slow only finding some small crappies. Afternoon water temps got to be 59-60 and the bite got pretty good for eyes, and small bass. No state records, but managed 11-12 eyes(2 legals), some small LM, and some more crappie(1 13"). Saw other boats catching some crappie also. Wind was wicked on the way back to the state park at 4:00pm. All fish taken on jig and minnow fished vertically.

This has been a good year on the fox. Did you spend the entire day on Fox Lake?

Marc, I pretty much stayed in squaw creek and ackermans. Just to stay out of that 30-35mph wind.
