I havent posted any pics for a while to I figured I would share a few today.

The first is from today. I had a double header. Right when i was about to land the brown trout I noticed the steelhead jumping with my other bait in its mouth. After a little untangling I was lucky enough to land both.

The rest of the pics are a mix from the last couple of weeks.

Wow you sure have the photography down, those are some great pictures. Just how do you do it by yourself?

Please do share about the self photo techniques. Also, have u ever considered carrying a video camera to document the action?

I have a bracket to hold the camera near my bow that I can swing around. I just turn on the timer and hold up the fish. It took a little practice but its not to hard.

Here are a couple more I caught this morning before work.

I only fished for 2 hours and ended up 2 for 4 on trout and also caught a small pike.

Always enjoy your photos and tips. Been fishing out of my kayak for a couple years in the Evanston/Wilmette area. Pretty good success in the spring with coho and browns and in late summer and early fall for kings when winds are good. I haven't had much luck for browns in the fall, but there are clearly plenty around. Did you catch those beauties trolling or casting? Any suggestions?

Beautiful fish kayak! Must be a blast catching them from the yak! I have been thinking about getting a yak for next years season. After seeing this, you have made up my mind!
