I'd like to fish the lakefront for smallies but don't really know where to launch. I'm familiar with the area but have never launched at any place other than Burnham in my boat. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Not sure about Chicago. I've seen alot of small boats launch of the Depster street beach by the Park District office. Don't know the fes but here's a link had.

Let me know if it works out. I still need to find a Kayak before I'll be giving it a try.

There's a spot by the control tower at northerly island were the wall is low enough to launch. On the lakeside is the beach by the planetarium. Diversey looks low enough on the north side of the harbor for a launching.
