Decided to buy a Trident 13 Angler made by Ocean Kayak.

I'm jealous!

Just thinking about the thread's title... If a good decision is made on a kayak purchase, you can skip the whole 'starter' kayak thing because the first kayak can be the one you use for a long, long time. I bought a good quality kayak on Craigs for starters at a good price because I didn't know if the kayak angling thing was something I'd be sticking with. After 2 seasons, I decided to upgrade to something I feel safer with.
