Caught by my Oldest Daughter, I think she was 10 at the time, dont remember for sure. Caught in the South Harbor in Kenosha..

Those perch are big but I cought a monster perch off goverment pier number of years back to bad I don't have a pic to prove it. this perch was over three pounds. I let her go it was july if it's still out there I would love to catch it agan.

My 15" in the picture was 1.8 lbs with eggs.

A perch over three pounds is hard to believe. When
you don't have a tape measure or scale with you,
they seem much bigger.

laugh all you want I cought this thing it was big. Ok so I don't realy know how much it weighed but this thing was fat I mean like a large mouth bass this fish needed a net. Got the picture or you still can't resist. :lol:

The world record yellow perch has proved to be a difficult record to top. It was taken in 1865 from Cross Wicks Creek, New Jersey, and weighed an incredible 4 pounds, 3 ounces.
