Here's a couple from shortly after midnight, Jan 1, 2003. Lake Geneva.
Here's me with one around 6 lbs.
Here's my dad with one we never weighed, but went 31" with a 23" girth. We used an equation to estimate her at 13lb 13oz
And my favorite pic of the same fish...

Yeah, that was a night I'll remember for a long time. The fireworks were still going off and the bars were hoppin' when my dad got the big one. He get's to have all the fun though, I still haven't got one over 10lbs. I think he got 4 or 5 that winter. I hope I get to see a fish that big again in my lifetime.
PS Thanks for the avitar!

Great Pics. Great eyes. Great to see you out with your Dad! Great seeing that BIG Gal going back to make some future generations for Walleye Fin-addicts.

I almost always go fishing with my dad, he owns the boat! And I'll be honest, that big girl got a nick while unhooking her, and bled a little. We had her in the livewell for about 30 minutes. She almost didn't fit! She stopped bleeding and appeared to be in great shape, so we let her swim. I hope she's still out there! Scary thing is this was before digital cameras, so we didn't know if we even got a good pic or not until we developed the film! You can see that I chopped the tail a little. That pic still lives on my parent's fridge.
