That perch was a good 6 inches too. Since I've had the green it's eaten medium suckers, crawdads, all my other leftover minnows. Thing is a beast, should have known as I originally caught it on a 6 in wacky worm. It won't touch pellets or flakes, gotta have it raw and wriggling like gollum from Lord of the rings.

Greenies are aggressive buggers, but they don't have a mouth that big! Warmouths think they're little largemouths. I've had them hit big senkos and jerkbaits larger than they are.

My buddy got nipped in the finger at the golf course grabbing a ball out of the water one day by a warmouth.They'll hit anything by shore that moves.

Thanks for the correction on the species ID.

The perch was fully digested within 24 hours. Had a long white stringy thing hanging out of him for awhile.
