That sure is a nice batch of different colored ones. Did Matt out fish you again? Ya just might have to teach him how to use the camera.

John and I had been talking about getting down to the club to hunt walleye for some time. We tried in the morning without any luck. Back to the drawing board. We salvaged the morning catching gills. The red ears were enormous for only being 10" long. I take the photos with my phone. I guess I am not willing to hand the phone over. If I drop it in the lake I have nobody to blame but myself. He's getting tall, but not Paul Bunyan tall.

I just hate walleye fishing. I'm gonna trade in all my #4+ size spinner blades for #3 and unders and just rig for panfish, they fight better anyhow. Nah, just kiddin. I had a really good time, Jeff. It's been a year or 2 since we first talked about the walleye and we finally got the trip in. The water's clear, really clear but think we can crack the code. Matt beat the snot out of us catchin all those redears, man was that fun! Nothin like watching a cork go under then setting the hook into a dinner plate.

Probably be down for the Carbon Hill festivities. I think some walleye fishin' after dark might be in order. We'll figure it out.
