I came across this last PM on Ebay while scopeing out fish finders.
From the look of the craftsmanship I would guess that some past relative of our own favorite woodworker created this prize.

Mr.Luc, iz this a long lost family treasure?

It has a glass bottom and a notch for the viewer's nose. Notice the handles on the sides.

It sure beats stickin' yer head in.
Put one of those over an ICE HOLE and save a few bucks on a Vexilar. :D

I have seen tube viewers before but not one so treasured as this one.

Sure does seem well thought out with the nose piece and black paint on the inside. Some fine craftsmanship there.
