fell asleep for a bit after work and dinner wide awake when the family was going to bed so I grabbed a rod and my bike to burn off some energy not expecting much. arrived at my first spot at 12:15 last night after about 5 casts with a sz8 husky jerk it gets crushed. i.m thinking nice bass then on a quick roll on the surface I see the green eye, its a big ol eye 6#9oz 26.5" from the thickness of the fish and sunk in belly i'm guessing post spawn female took a couple pics and free she swam only one other hit baby bass

the craps were on fire but the roaming schools of folks that keep fish were hitting them good as I heard,haven't been out much works ben crazy.
she may have been pushing 8 prespawn it was a healthy fish

also made a quick trip to the big pond around noon today same thing one good hit one fat girl this football weighed in at 4#4oz with a 15" girth

What body of water was the walleye out of, just out of curiosity? If it's a private pond or lake, no worries. Just wondering. That's a great walleye.
